Good bye Kim

It looks like we don't have to worry about Byung Hyun Kim this year after all. The Red Sox have apparently found a taker for Kim in Colorado. The deal isn't finalized yet, but the Red Sox will basicially be giving Kim away and getting nothing in return. They're willing to pay up to $5.5 million of the $6 million he's owed this year and the long prospect they'll get in return could possibly be the underwhelming 26 year old Jason Young. Young has a 9.71 ERA in 30 major league innings with Colorado. He was once considered a top prospect but it doesn't appear that he's going to turn into the pitcher that Colorado once hoped.

I was all for getting rid of Kim, but I was hoping we wouldn't have to pay his entire salary and get nothing for him in return... Ah well. Best of luck to Kim and he's going to need it pitching in Colorado.
